REMOVING WOOD FLOOR STAINS
THERE ARE MANY WAYS YOUR WOOD FLOOR CAN GET STAINED. HERE ARE HOW TO FIX THEM.
From lipstick stains, food, oil & grease, cigarettes burn, crayon stains, wax or nail polish, if these stains are not treated correctly and immediately, they can create permanent damage to your wood flooring. Follow these procedures to clean stains on your wood flooring :
1. Wipe with damp cloth
2. If unsuccessful, use mild detergent ( PH. 6,8 )
3. If the stain persists, use acetone. Under normal circumstances, acetone should be able to remove the stain.
4. Avoid scrubbing with abbrassive material and using strong solvent or detergent
KROYA Floors' engineered wood flooring can be sanded back lightly and recoated with lacquer up to three times. It is recommended that a specialist and experienced sanding contractor carry out this work.
